Due to the current pandemic, those submitting passport applications must answer a short questionnaire and have their temperature taken to be admitted into the Law Library. Face coverings should also be worn and social distancing guidelines will be enforced.
The San Joaquin County Law Library’s Passport Acceptance Facility is now accepting appointments for the following times:
Tuesday: 8:30AM – 10:30AM
Wednesday: 8:30AM – 10:30AM
Thursday: 8:30AM – 10:30AM
Please call twenty-four hours before the appointment for cancellations. If you are over fifteen minutes late, the appointment will be cancelled and you may not reschedule.
To schedule an appointment please call (209) 468-2397 during our business hours of Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM-4:30PM. Appointments are scheduled two weeks ahead at most. If there are no available appointments, you may be waitlisted due to high demand for appointments. To speed up application review, please show up on time or early for your appointment with the necessary documents ready.

Please note that it will take a minimum of 4 weeks to track the progress of your application due to travel time.
We accept cash, checks, credit, and debit for the $35.00 passport execution fee. There is a minimum service fee of $1.35 for credit and debit transactions.
